January 3, 2018 by Afrik Armando in Family, Stories 0 Comments

From the bottom of my heart, I’d like to begin this year by thanking every one of you. 2017 was a remarkable year of growth but none of it would’ve been possible without you. Your incredible personalities and jolly spirits made the year. I’m truly honored that you’ve graced me with this opportunity of documenting and telling your stories. Words cannot describe the thrill I feel in my soul when I see eyes light up and hear words like “you mean I look that good in real life?” 2018 is just starting off and this year we’re going to be BOLDER THAN WE’VE EVER BEEN BEFORE. We’ll be bold about our dreams, bold about our love and bold about how beautiful we are. For true beauty is passion, heart, and kindness. We’ll write our story and make it unforgettable. We’ll live out loud and spend our days with absolutely no regrets. Thank you, David and Nadiya, for the incredible time we spent in New York, thank you for having such an adventurous, red and bold love. David and NadiyaNew York

May 3, 2017 by Afrik Armando in Family, Stories 0 Comments

How far would you go in pursuit of your dreams?.  We’ve all got ambitions, desires, and dreams but like someone rightly said: ” A dream without a plan or corresponding action, is but a mere wish.” Dima’s dreams have not only made him move from a distant country to the United States, but they’ve also given him the stamina to withstand all the odds and oppositions he encounters. Beyond the facade of his appearance, there’s a story of courage and endurance, for this reason, I felt honored to document the sprouting of his ambitions. And for you my reader, don’t wait, the best time to start pursuing your dreams is now. DimaBaltimore, MD

Picnics in their own minds, Family Photos
October 25, 2016 by Afrik Armando in Family, Stories 0 Comments

I tell you, kids sure do live in their own reality. We (Nick, Marina and Anabella Novik) spent approximately 7+ hours thinking and planning every detail of this photoshoot. It was to be a perfect family picnic with everyone seating in array but haha, who was I kidding. Nikolasha ( the little man) made his presence know by reaching out to the berries and painting his face purple with some berry juice. He didn’t seat on the special place we reserved for him actually his energy level was too high to even keep him seated at all. But you know that’s the beauty of the unexpected, things don’t always go as planned, they usually turn out even better. The berry painted face was just what we needed and without a shadow of doubt this was truly a perfect family picnic. Andrey and Mary NovikDallas, TX
