A black tie affair with vibrant cultural feels | Wedding at Brandywine Manor | Rick & Paola
Rick & Paola’s wedding was a black-tie event, with a monochromatic color palette, yet infused with the vibrancy brought about by the rich blends of cultures from both families.
Not long ago, I shared a blog post about the experience I had at Rick & Paola’s engagement session, how they lived in the moment and cherished every second. With that in mind, my anticipation for their wedding was high and friend I must tell you, they definitely blew my expectations out the window. Not only did the wedding party & couple have dance moves better than Jagger’s, they knew what it meant to party. They cried, laughed, loved & slayed together. And when they all got in formation for the one formal group photo which mind you, we only had 5 minutes to create, it was hard to ignore The Godfather vibes in the air. More to this their day was filled with Mexican chants, great food, and high emotions.
For their design, they opted for a black-tie affair. With simple yet beautiful centerpieces of elevated baby’s breath and a wall of roses for their sweetheart table backdrop. In addition to this, they had a floral arch at cocktail hour for photos and Mexican woven blankets as wedding favors. Their bridesmaids wore sleek black dresses with rose bouquets for a classic look.
The most memorable moment for me was when Rick saw Paola for the first time walking down the aisle, and though I’ve witnessed this a thousand times, it never gets old. Guys, word’s can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am to have been part of your wedding family. Thank you, Rick & Paola.
